Our Staff

Patrick, better known as “Paddy” Flanagan, serves as the preaching minister at Owens Cross Roads Church of Christ, where he has served since 2018 and has loved watching the church grow spiritually and numerically with each passing day. Before his work at Owens Cross Roads, Paddy served as the youth minister at Concord Road Church of Christ in Brentwood, TN, for eleven years.

Educationally, Paddy holds a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Freed Hardeman University, a Master of Ministry degree from Harding University, and just completed a Doctor of Ministry degree at Amridge University, where his dissertation studied the difference between administrative and shepherding leadership styles in the church.

Paddy's greatest earthly joy is his family. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Melissa (Gross), and they are blessed with two wonderful daughters. Paddy’s favorite pastime is playing with his daughters on their swing set or at the park. He also enjoys running ultra-marathons and has recently developed an interest in photographing distant galaxies and nebulae.

In short, Paddy loves God and God’s people and enjoys exploring  “His creation.”

Noah Vann has served as the youth minister at Owens Cross Roads since 2018. Noah graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in May 2015, where he met his lovely wife, Megan. Noah completed a degree in both Bible and Communications.

Noah believes that youth ministry is vital for training and building up leaders for the church of today. His mission for the youth group at Owens Cross Roads is to build and strengthen relationships with God and others. Thus, giving the youth a thriving connection to the Lord, as well as the church. In addition to ministry and creating meaningful Christ-centered relationships, Noah loves to play golf, surround himself with friends and family, and make people laugh.
